Absence request management in the employee registration view

Adding an absence request

  1. In the registration view, click the Add absence request button. The Add absence request button is only visible if you have the right to add your own absence requests and you have a valid work time group.
  2. Select the type and duration of the absence. You can also add additional information that will be visible to the request approver under Additional information.
  3. After adding the request, its status will be open until the approver either accepts or rejects it.

If you have the rights to approve your own absence requests, the request editing view will have a Save and approve button, which you can use to approve your request.

If you do not have a work time group, your absence requests cannot be edited, and absence requests cannot be added for you even in the management view.

Viewing absence requests

Clicking on the Show my absence requests button allows you to view the status of your absence requests.

Requests are sorted by status:

  • Open: The request has not yet been accepted.
  • Accepted: The request has been accepted. Accepted requests are also visible in worktime tracking.
  • Rejected: The request has been rejected.

If you have the rights to edit requests, you can edit your requests by clicking on the desired request and selecting Edit. You can also delete a request by pressing Delete.

Your own open absence request cannot be rejected in the registration view, it can only be deleted.
